This is a sample audio file.

If you were subscribed to the syndication feed of this blog, you’d receive notification when new files are made available – then we might call it a podcast :-).

Changing the look

Some of you might notice that the blog looks different from how it looked this morning!

Edublogs provides a range of ‘themes’ which can easily be applied to a blog simply by selecting the preferred theme from a set of options. While I liked the ‘look’ of the previous theme, it didn’t include some of the sidebar items I think are important for this type of blog. Currently, there are only minimal customisation options for themes in edublogs, so I decided to select another theme.

This theme – called ‘Daisy Rae Gemini’ – includes a ‘search’ box in the sidebar, and also the name of the author of each post.

Questions and concerns

What I’d like to hear from you is what sorts of questions and concerns you have about online teaching? What would you like to know? What challenges do you see, and what support would you like?

This blog is being set up to support a workshop being run in September by the Teaching and Learning Centre at the University of New England. It will be a ‘sandbox’ for participants to explore blogging.
